Terms of Use & EULA
These terms govern your use of the BetterRoom app, AI generation service, and credit purchases.
1. Agreement
By downloading, accessing, or using BetterRoom, you agree to these Terms and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's terms control to the extent required for an App Store application.
2. BetterRoom service
BetterRoom lets you submit a room photograph, choose a visual direction, generate an AI-assisted interior concept, and request follow-up refinements. Generated output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, impractical, or different from your request.
Before purchasing materials or changing a space, verify measurements, structural conditions, building codes, product suitability, and safety requirements with qualified professionals.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining control of the Apple or Google account used to sign in and for activity under your BetterRoom account. You must provide accurate information and must not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that harms other people or the service.
4. Your content
You retain your rights in photographs and instructions you submit. You grant BetterRoom and its service providers a limited right to host, transmit, reproduce, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the requested service. You must have the right and any necessary permission to upload the content.
Do not submit illegal content, intimate or exploitative imagery, content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual-property rights, or content intended to facilitate harm.
5. AI credits
One successful initial design or refinement currently uses one AI credit. A provider failure is intended to restore the reserved credit. Complimentary credits have no cash value and may not be transferred or resold.
BetterRoom Pro Weekly grants 30 credits per weekly subscription period. BetterRoom Pro Yearly grants 300 credits per yearly subscription period. BetterRoom Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase that grants 1,000 credits once; “Lifetime” identifies the purchase package and does not mean unlimited generations, unlimited credits, or a guaranteed lifetime of service.
6. Subscriptions and purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
Prices shown in the app are localized by Apple and may include applicable taxes. Refund requests are handled by Apple under App Store policies. Restoring purchases may require the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.
7. Availability and changes
AI generation depends on network access and third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular generation time, or a particular output. We may modify or discontinue features, styles, model providers, credit requirements, or complimentary offers, subject to applicable law and without taking away purchases already owed to you.
8. Intellectual property
BetterRoom, its interface, branding, software, curated style system, and supporting content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful conduct, or material violation of these Terms. You may stop using BetterRoom or delete your account. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterRoom is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. BetterRoom is not responsible for decisions, purchases, construction work, injury, or property damage based on generated concepts.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Where liability may be limited, BetterRoom's aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for BetterRoom during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Apple terms
Apple is not responsible for maintaining or supporting BetterRoom. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must comply with applicable App Store terms. Apple's Standard EULA is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or security changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes will be communicated where required.
